PK Movement

What is PK Movement

PK Movement is the part of our practice that is for individuals and families who are looking for occupational therapy service but do not qualify for skilled occupational therapy service. This is determined after completing our standardized evaluation when an individual does not meet the requirements for insurance to cover standard occupational therapy services but still wish to receive individualized care to increase an individual’s daily success. Just like traditional occupational therapy sessions, with PK Movement, we individualize a program to address specific needs of the individual and their family’s goals. Throughout the sessions skills will be addressed in the areas of self-help activities, sensory motor skills, gross and fine motor skills, visual motor skills, and more.

These sessions are run by our highly trained team of occupational therapist or interns that are supervised by our therapist. This portion of our practice is not able to be billed through insurance as it is not skilled services, this service is out of pocket for a 45 minute session that is either weekly or bi-weekly depending on families wishes. We work with families to help fit their needs.
